How to Give

Each member of Wycliffe Bible Translators looks to God to supply his/her material needs,
including all expenses incurred in the course of his/her work.

The normal channels through which God supplies these needs are churches and individuals. The continued link between those who give and those who receive brings blessing to all.

If you would like to make a tax deductible donation you can do so by following one of these options.

What is a ministry budget?

A monthly amount is set which reflects the cost of living in the area in which Wycliffe members are located. This amount includes such items as housing, food, medical expenses, insurance, and children's education. These budgets take into consideration the country of assignment and size of family.

What are some of the basic financial principles used by Wycliffe?

Receipting and spending of funds is confined to programs (e.g. member support) and projects approved by the board of directors.
Your gifts will be used as designated with the understanding that the total costs of all programs and projects include costs imposed by governments. As well, Wycliffe personnel have agreed that 10 percent of all gifts to members' support goes towards administrative costs.
When donations for any program or project have met the required objective set by the board, gifts may be used where needed most. When an objective is met, regular donors will be informed.
